Porsche’s People Pleaser Receives Its Finishing Touches
The 2019 Porsche Macan hasn’t been subjected to an overhaul this year, because the Macan was already exciting and a load of fun to drive. What has been done is the addition of features to emphasize style and add to driver comfort.
What has been added includes LED headlights and taillights, improved interior lighting, an available sport steering wheel taken from the 911, and a larger 10.9-inch infotainment screen with a customizable interface and improved navigation system. There are new paint colors including:
- Mamba Green Metallic
- Miami Blue
- Dolomite Silver Metallic
The 2019 Macan has also added the Traffic Jam Assist feature. When activated, the Macan automates acceleration, braking, and lane keeping assist at any speed up to 40 mph. This makes stop and go traffic a breeze. In addition, the Macan has a retuned chassis for a smoother ride. The tires are of different sizes front and back to take advantage of the rear-favored Porsche Traction Management system.
The Macan keeps its 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine developing 248 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque and mated to the 7-speed PDK gearbox and all-wheel drive. With Porsche Launch Control, the Macan can do 0-60 in 6.1 seconds.
The new Macan will be making its US debut in December 2018 at the Los Angeles Auto Show, and Manhattan Motorcars expects to have delivery by summer of 2019. Contact us at 866-325-1538 for more information on the exciting 2019 Porsche Macan.
