The Urus is a vehicle with commanding proportions while retaining super sport car features such as its distinctive profile with a dynamic flying coupé line. The Lamborghini Urus is singular in its ability to provide the benefits of a sports utility vehicle while offering the emotional experience of a super sports car. The Urus is not only powerful but easy to drive and safe due to its ANIMA (Adaptive Network Intelligent Management) system which is selectable by the driver for different modes. The Urus is all Lamborghini and shares the DNA of its brothers.

Lamborghini has created something unique with the 2020 Urus because it contains multiple personalities of a sports car, utility vehicle, and off-road capable beast. Its exterior lines impart a sense of strength and security with all lines having a distinct purpose. Iconic Lamborghini elements can be seen in the “Y”, hexagon elements, front bonnet with its distinctive peak, and the crossed lines on the rear door. The Urus is also the lowest SUV in its class which offers it unique proportions while retaining good ground clearance.

The interior of the Urus combines classic Italian craftsmanship with the latest technology including three TFT screens for instruments, infotainment, and for interior comfort functions. The technology includes virtual keyboard functions with handwriting recognition. The seating can be configured for five with a bench seat or four with two individual back seats. The interior design can be tailored for owner tastes toward a more sporty or elegant look to suit. A variety of materials are available including natural leather, Alcantara, aluminum, wood finishes, or carbon fiber. The Urus contains the largest range of custom options ever offered in a Lamborghini to ensure each vehicle will have the soul of its owner. The infotainment system includes two intuitive touchscreens with haptic controls and voice commands, and a Bang & Olufsen 1700-watt 3D sound system with 21 speakers.

The driving dynamics of the Urus involve different active elements including:

• The engine and transmission. The engine is a twin-turbo V-8 offering 650 horsepower with the best power to weight ratio in the SUV segment. The 8-speed automatic transmission is coupled to a permanent four-wheel drive system with active torque vectoring. The torque is directed primarily to the rear wheels to provide a sport-oriented driving behavior.
• The Urus contains a variety of safety technologies for everyday use. There are three ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) packages including Urban Road, Full ADAS, and Highway to offer the driver innovative assistance and safety features.
• The ANIMA drive selector offers the driver a variety of dynamic behaviors including STRADA, CORSA, SPORT, TERRA for off-road, SABBIA for sand, NEVE for slippery conditions, and the ultimate EGO which allows the driver to customize features for steering, suspension, and traction control.
• The drivetrain and chassis employ a range of active features including four-wheel drive, adaptive air suspension, electromechanical roll stabilization, and carbon-ceramic brakes.
