GLICKENHAUS SCG 006

Manhattan Motorcars will represent Glickenhaus Racing as they release the SCG006 Coupe and Spyder. SCG is a NHTSA low-volume compliant manufacturer with its line of road-legal and racing vehicles. All carry 17-digit VIN and are legal in at least 49 states. It is designed as a two-seat two-door sports car reminiscent of a 1960s road car.

The SCG006 will utilize a front engine arrangement and rear transmission for proper weight distribution. SCG refers to the transmission as a six-speed torque tube transaxle with a manual or paddle-shift automatic option. The engine is a 6.2 liter supercharged V-8 expected to develop about 650 HP. It uses a carbon fiber body with either the Couple hard top or Spyder soft top. The exhausts are side mounted but optionally can be placed to exit at the rear of the vehicle.
